I'm a disabled military veteran that joined because I could use some advice from some people about what I'm trying to do with my Steyr THB in .308 which I'm swapping the stock with one from the SSG 04 and has an Eliminator III scope mounted on it using two small picatinny rails on the top.

I do not want to put one of typical bipods on it because they are too expensive, have too much flex in it or simply won't fit on this rifle because it will only have a single swivel stud on the forend.

What I'm considering is getting a UTG Big Bore Full Stability Bipod, which weighs 2 pounds, because it seems to me that it might not flex when I'm pushing on it while in a firing position as much as a Harris, even though I have to mount it on the swivel stud.

Any advise based upon experience with the UTG Big Bore Full Stability Bipod, my rifle or my scope would be truly appreciated.

Once I get the SSG 04 stock on it, I haven't a clue where I'm going to sight it in because it requires a 200 yard range to zero it.

I'm in Spring Hill, FL, in case someone here has some land in the area that I might be able to set up a target at 200 yards.

Respectfully,
Elton
