Hello all,
First off Ill say that I know the .308 is probably a better beginner platform from my reading, but Ive come across 2 rifles with glass and Harris bipods for prices too good to overlook.
Howa 1500 30-06 long action standard 24" barrel
Savage 110 30-06 long action standard 24" barrel
Of the two which would be better suited? Or should I bypass these and just wait another month or so and go with a 700 SPS in .308 and start piecing it together.
All comments welcome, was in the military so all are constructive, never personal
