I plan to convert my Winchester Model 70 (possibly a Coyote model) to a hinged floorplate in a new stock. I have a one-piece steel floorplate, but just haven't gotten into the new project rifle's insides to see what else will need changing, as well. Will the magazine box need to be replaced with a different one? I assume I will need a new magazine spring, but the follower should be reusable on the new build.

The mag spring, box, and follower are interchangeable between the blind-box and the hinged floorplate model.
